Rick Leigh @ BAR Studios

At a glance. . .

I'm currently a Graduate Student at Washington State University (Go Cougs!).  I have worked for one of the largest computer companies in the U.S., interned in Information Technology on one of the largest Engineering, Procurement, and Construction Companies' projects (also the largest construction project in North America at the time), and currently perform research & data analysis activities for one of the premier research and development companies in the world.  In addition to my work and school, I enjoy waterskiing, wakeboarding, boating, photography, and more recently biking the various paths along the Columbia River.

Be Prepared. . .

I've been a volunteer my whole life; whether at work, in school, or in scouts growing up. I'm continuously trying to expand my capabilities in service to my community. I've added a list of some of the training I've taken and work to keep current in my "about" section.

Going the distance

I explored many of the walking/biking trails in the Tri-Cities area while growing up.  In recent years, much progress has been made in updating and paving some of the more popular trails throughout the area.  So I have decided to start riding these trails again; starting with the river trails that run through the various parks.  I'm documenting my progress in Rick's Rides.

Pictures

I'm finally in the process of updating my picture gallery and BAR Studios'.  This is a work in progress, since I literally have thousands of photos occupying gigs of space.  I'm going to start with my most recent pictures and work backwards.
