Rick's Rants

Occasionally, I'll sit down and just start writing about any number of issues.  I suspect this is a by-product of my research background.  I can go weeks at a time thinking about something, and then one night at 2am, I'll wake up with my completed thoughts.  Sometimes I share these "arguments/ideas" with friends/family, and other times I keep them to myself.  They're often complex and difficult to communicate, so think of what's posted here as 'works in progress.'  They may be funny, or disturbingly satirical (think: A Modest Proposal).  I'll probably throw the occasional funny or relevant personal story up here.  I may even convert some of them to Flash stories.
